I’m Dvir Abramovich: author, commentator, scholar and civil rights activist. I chair the Anti-Defamation Commission and direct a program at the University of Melbourne. I have written nine books, my columns appear in the local and international press, and I am a regular voice on Australian television and radio.

Never Silent is where I say what the sound bite cannot hold. My subjects are culture, politics, the Jewish world, literature and the moral life of this nation: what holds people together, what pulls them apart, and what we owe one another. Racism, wherever it shows its face, here and abroad. The things that make my blood rise and the things that give me hope, said plainly and without apology.
